The inaugural Dan Maskell Junior Wheelchair Team Tennis Event took place alongside the British Tennis Junior Nationals at Nottingham Tennis Centre in August. This event is being supported by the Dan Maskell Tennis Trust, The Youth Sport Trust and the LTA.

Not surprisingly there was an enthusiastic unanimous vote in favour of Elaine continuing her role as President of the Trust and she will commence a further 3-year term of office from 1st January. 2019 will be her 10th year.
The final of four trustee meetings was held at the end of October with over £72,500 committed in principle to grants for the year. This includes 21 tennis wheelchairs, 14 equipment bags and 72 monetary grants to groups and individuals.
DMTT chosen by Wimbledon Foundation to participate in HSBC Tennis Clinic with Tim Henman and Alfie Hewett. The clinic will involve Sutton Tennis Centre’s wheelchair group.
Grand opening of their resurfaced tennis courts on 13th May. The Group is for people recovering from mental health problems.
From Thursday 24th August – Sunday 3rd September, DMTT is running an online auction on eBay to raise funds for our grant funding programme for people with disabilities who play tennis.
